I extracted these figures from the link below. This was not a study of haplogroup frequency within specific communities but a general study of the distribution and frequency of haplogroups amongst high caste, low caste and tribal people of India(only some states). The results listed below are by no means indicative of R2 frequency within those communities because the sample sizes are very small in many instances. I just compiled this out of curiosity. The list does not mention the number of people tested within a group (caste or community). I also read elsewhere that in all cases only between 10 to 150 people were tested against their total community population of over 100,000 people. And for example if 10 out of 50 were found to be of R2, then the 20% value is atached to its entire caste group numbers. So one can assume that the list given here is not accurate and grossly misleading that too when it shows percentage values up to second decimal.
